New Disney Dining Cancellation Policy

Reservations that are made on or after Oct. 26, 2011 at some of the busiest Disney restaurants will be charged a $10 per person fee if they are not used or canceled with a full day’s notice to avoid the cancellation fee. Guests will be required to provide a credit card with reservations made on or after Oct. 26, 2011. If you find yourself needing to cancel one of your ADR’s you can call Disney at 407-WDW-DINE or (407) WDW-CNCL , go online at DisneyWorld.com. You can also go to any of the guest relations help desks at any of the theme parks, your Disney Resort front desk and concierge, or a table-service restaurant podium.

The restaurants added to this new policy include:

  • 1900 Park Fare
  • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
  • Artist Point
  • California Grill
  • Cape May Café
  • Chef Mickey’s
  • Cítricos
  • The Crystal Palace
  • Flying Fish Café
  • The Garden Grill
  • Hollywood & Vine
  • Jiko – The Cooking Place
  • Le Cellier Steakhouse
  • Narcoossee’s
  • O’hana
  • Tusker House Restaurant
  • The Hollywood Brown Derby
  • Yachtsman Steakhouse
  • Victoria & Albert’s -cancellation policy fee is higher $25 per person

Pre-paid dinner shows will continue to charge the full amount if the reservation is not canceled at least one day in advance as usual.

  • Cinderella’s Royal Table
  • Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
  • Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
  • Mickey’s Backyard BBQ

I am hoping that this new policy will be a positive effect on being able to secure reservations at the popular Disney restaurants, especially during free dining. Hopefully the old fashioned walk-up will be like it was before.
